College Uniform

The uniform of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira reflects the ideals of simplicity, discipline and equality. Every student is expected to wear the prescribed uniform with dignity while attending College, hostel prayers and other official programmes.

Wearing the prescribed dress helps create a sense of unity among students and preserves the unique residential culture and traditions of the institution.

Option 1: White trousers (not pyjamas) with a white shirt.
Option 2: Dhoti with a white shirt or a white panjabi.

Dress During Prayer

Students must wear dhoti along with a white shirt or a white panjabi while attending morning and evening prayers in their respective hostels. Wearing the prescribed dress maintains the dignity and spiritual atmosphere of the prayer hall.

Dress Code Guidelines

Students should always maintain a clean, simple and decent appearance while inside the College campus.
The prescribed College uniform should be worn properly during academic and official activities.
Wearing lungis or any other indecent or inappropriate dress inside the campus is strictly prohibited.
