Principal

The Principal of the college is a monastic member of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission. He serves as the academic and administrative head of the institution and is responsible for maintaining its vision of excellence in education, discipline, character building, and holistic development.

He is assisted by the Vice Principal, the Teachers’ Council, and the non-teaching staff in the smooth functioning of the college administration. The Principal also supervises the hostel administration with the support of the Vice Principal, the Hostel Office Superintendent, and the Monastic Hostel Superintendents.

Presently Swami Mahaprajnananda is serving as the Principal of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira. He is also a faculty member of the Department of Zoology and assumed charge as Principal on 1st April, 2022.
