National Service Scheme (N.S.S.)

The National Service Scheme (N.S.S.) Unit of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira has been functioning since June 1970. It provides students with opportunities to participate in meaningful community service and social welfare activities while developing leadership, discipline and a sense of responsibility.

Student volunteers actively engage in environmental awareness, literacy programmes, coaching for underprivileged students, relief work, gardening and various outreach initiatives for the benefit of society.

The National Service Scheme seeks to develop the personality of students through community service. By participating in various outreach programmes, volunteers cultivate compassion, leadership, teamwork and a deep sense of social responsibility while contributing positively to society.
